Creative and instinctive; a specialist in photographing people and events on location, capturing the moment using modern equipment and software to make striking and visual images. Relocating to The North East of England in 2000, Chris offers his photography services to Teesside businesses, Public Relations companies and organisations, with regular commissions from companies such as The North York Moors Parks & Tourist Authority and Cummins Engines in Darlington. Chris also supplies photography for Performing Arts, theatre and live performance having been commisioned by The Royal Opera House press office in London.

The last Stonehenge festival. The Stonehenge Free Festival was a British free festival from 1974 to 1984 held at the prehistoric monument Stonehenge in England during the month of June, and culminating with the summer solstice on or near 21 June. It emerged as the major free festival in the calendar after the violent suppression of the Windsor Free Festival in August 1974, with Wally Hope providing the impetus for its founding, and was itself violently suppressed in 1985 in the Battle of the Beanfield, with no free festival held at Stonehenge since although people have been allowed to gather at the stones again for the solstice since 1999.

Photo Editing is a long Process

I’ve often considered adding the editing and processing of images l take on a shoot as an extra cost!

It takes a day if not more when there are lots of images to process from a big shoot. For example a 4 hour photo commission on location taking say 600 photos, can easily take 10 hours to process.

But l don’t charge extra, as l regard this work as part of the job!

Wild Sauna in Saltburn by Sea.

It’s fantastic! I try to come every week. The feeling a have after a wild sauna is amazing. It’s a bit of a trek to get into the sea when the tide is out, so lm cooling off out here.

I book for an hour and can get four saunas in that time with a 5 minute break between. It’s very hot in there!
